I think Namestnikov would be a great pickup for the Oilers but it'll take more then Benning to get him and good luck getting Eugene to retain salary... Lol

Haha true, it's not necessary just gives a little more flexibility. I think Benning should do it, Ottawa doesn't have alot of young RHD, Namestinkov is a rental and Benning is an rfa. They should both be able to fetch a third. OTT can flip Benning at the draft otherwise

Does Benning really fit into Ottawas plans though?
Perhaps something like Benning and a mid round pick for Namestnikov and a late round pick would be fair.

Really feel like the Oilers need to add someone like Namestnikov who can add some offense to the 2nd or 3rd line but isn't gonna cost any major assets to acquire.

I'd give Benning and maybe a 5th or reserve list, already missing the third so unless we go 2021
