Well he's the 2017 9th overall pick so you may want to rethink that

From what I was just looking at doesn’t look like he’s anything special.... lias was also a first rounder 7th overall and that doesn’t always translate to being very good

There is lots of other better players to draft that Holtz with 4th overall. Plus we don't need another wing, we need a center, and if we can't get a center than a D. I would make that trade all day long but I don't think NY does. IDK though

The dude played 60 games in the league as an 19-year old because he wasn't allowed to play in the AHL, where he should have been the whole time. Now he's putting up almost a point per game in the AHL as a 2nd year pro. Give me a break dude hahahhaha

Ok so who had picks 1-3?

I like that trade and your signings are RFA signings are right about where they should be. I'm still not sure Detroit lands any big name UFAs.

based on what ive seen holtz is a 4-6 type guy. And you guys are almost non existent with right shot forwards.

I think Holtz will fall, he already has since the start of the year. Stutzle, Perfetti, Lundell, Drysdale will all be there 4th most likely. All those guys meet our needs more than just a right hand shot winger.

I'm willing to adjust the pick. Who's your choice?

But if Holland hadn't F%$#ed that up last season he most likely be in the NHL right now. They got permission for Zadina to play in the AHL why not do the same for Rasmussen?

Every time I mention this in a post there is always a couple who say permission from who or they don't need permission. So here is the agreement between the NHL and CHL.

Quoting: The CHL NHL Agreement
The NHL and CHL have an agreement in place that stipulates if a player drafted from one of the three leagues that make up the CHL doesn't join his NHL club at the beginning of a season, that he must return to the major junior team he was selected from. The AHL is not an option for CHL players until they turn 20.

Last season both Zadina and Rasmussen were 19. But Zadina was allowed to play in the AHL because the Wing's got permission for Zadina to do so. Rasmussen was stuck in the NHL since he was allowed to play in the AHL.
