Having seen them both play quite a bit, there is zero question that while Makar is a great player, Pettersson is easily the better of the two.

lol wtf. They play different positions and one is a rookie, how did you come to that conclusion? Makar almost outscoring Petey as a rookie defensemen lol

I’m with you 100%. If I’m drafting a new team and my next pick is between Pettersson and Makar, I’m going Pettersson. He has gamebreaking abilities that I haven’t seen from Makar yet. Makar is a damn fine player and will get better but at this moment, Pettersson is worth more.

Granted, as a Sharks fan i see Pettersson a lot moreas i watch pacific games regularly. But i live in Colorado and near Denver and Cale is very popular here. My opinion could change in a couple years.
