I doubt the Leafs move Johnsson based on how well he's working with Matthews

I like the idea of moving both Crow and Lehner for picks or prospects at TDL because you can always resign them.

That Toronto trade is heavily in favor of the Hawks.

How is that in favor the Hawks?

Kap = Murphy
Johnsson = Shaw, Crow, Nylander
Ceci is a cap move and useless for the Hawks

Ylonen isnt a good enough prospect to throw in Beaudin like he is nothing lol. This team has no high end LD prospects if Beaudin is gone. Beaudin and Gus for that is a massive overpay where the Habs win out

Gus isn't getting a 2nd and a 3rd at this point. More like a 2nd and a late round pick. Beaudin for Ylonen and a 3rd isn't that bad is my logic.

Crow is very clearly a rental for Toronto and Shaw is not having a great year. Nylander also is a work in progress. From my point of view I don’t think this make Toronto better or addresses needs (except Murphy over Ceci and Crow over Freddie). I think Johnson and Kapanen are the best players in this trade. They’re young, fast, 40+ point getters with more potential than Nylander. They’re also both on very friendly contracts.

Idk. I don’t look at advanced stats etc. just from looking at it it doesn’t seem near even.

Ylonen is a damn good prospect, but you're right. Chicago doesn't really need any winger prospects.

I think we could get more from MTL with Beaudin in the mix though I would want a slight overpay to move him particularly as they are desperate for that sort of player.

The TOR trade looks even value to me though Leafs fans are so high on Johnsson and Kap is def worth Murphy to them.

The CAR trade I liked better in the last version and would likely split the trade and do Lehner with CAR and if we are to trade Saad, move him to another contender to get a 1st +
