If we're taking a bad contract like Shaw back, that's about fair

But why aren't you guys addressing CARs biggest issue...between the pipes. I do watch CAR games. Your D is probably the best in the league.

Disagree. Shaw is a pretty consistent 30-40 point pace player who plays a physical game. This year he’s obviously struggling but I wouldn’t say it’s a “bad” contract. Hawks could move him easily. But they definitely won’t recoup the draft picks they spent to reacquire him

He's a guy you want in the playoffs for sure. Also, very versatile. You can play him anywhere in the lineup.

3.9 is WAY too much for a 3-40 point guy with injury issues

I wouldn’t say “WAY” too much. And last year he was on pace for over 60 points. He’s not a player that you have to pay another team to take him
