I’d prefer to keep Ross, there has to be a better depth forward we could give them.

But yeah, Imd like that Kappy trade just fine.

I'll address each one. Very good targets here.

Armia trade is interesting. I don't want to trade Aho until the off-season, just to make sure we don't trade Leddy first. If we don't trade Leddy, I'd move Aho.

Pageau trade is right on the money. I'd do that and I'd hope the Sens would too.

I would do the Tyler Toffoli deal. I think it's slight overpay since Bellows has played a little better, but I think Toffoli would be such a good fit here.

The Jarnkrok deal isn't something I thought of before, but I wouldn't do it. Just don't think he'd be a great fit.

Craig Smith, hell yeah. I'd rather do that trade than Toffoli to be honest, I think Smith would be a better fit here.

Value-wise I love the Kapanen trade, but money will be difficult. I wonder if the Leafs would do Mayfield for Hyman. On the other hand, I can't see us making trades with Toronto anymore. They're becoming a top rival of ours right now.

Leafs wouldn’t trade hyman. He’s our hardest worker

Yeah not surprised by that. I think it's fair value in a vacuum but agreed the Leafs shouldn't trade him given the current makeup of their team.

With the emergence of Holl this season Leafs have no need for mayfield.

Not so fast, Jamie. Holl isn't signed yet and Toronto has no other RD signed for next season, either.

I think all of these suggestions have great merit. The Kings certainly accept the Toffoli offer. Good insight and visualization!!

Holl should be re signed. Mayfield is not a top end Dman. Does not fit into the scheme next season. If leafs do need anything it is a top pair RHD. Otherwise it will be Dermott, Holl and liljegren.

Not that Mayfield would be a horrible add. Just not at that price tag. That’s a hefty trade. I could certainly see Holl on a similar contract for the next 2-3 years. Hopefully dubas has him locked up by TDL.

I agree with you that the second element in the proposed trade is insufficient, and that Dubas should re-up Holl. But I think that the plan is to use Rielly and Dermott on the left, which would leave a slot open on the right for Mayfield. My attitude is that you can never have too many RD's.

I can't see Montreal trading Armia. He's probably the most underrated player in the league and he's still young.
