New lines vs STL

Description
We know that Nylander can't play the same style of game as Toews and Saad, so why do we keep putting him in that failing situation. I say we give him a go with Kane and see how he does in a skill/puck possession game.

Teams are wise to the Kane-Debrincat connection, and with Strome out I see nothing wrong with splitting those two up and trying to get some different players going.

Go ahead and yell at me in the comments, but im not ready to give up on Nylander yet.

I'm not ready to give up on Nylander either. There's no shame in playing a middle 6 role. He's producing more down there anyway. Same with Dach. Understood that Strome's hurt, but he's been playing really well with Carpenter. Keep them together. I'd like to see Kubalik with Saad/Toews. I've been asking for that since opening day and haven't seen it. Oh well.

I like Nylander’s speed and his play defensively surprised me, but clearly at this point in his career, he is not a first line guy. He played play well with Carpenter and Saad at the beginning of the season. Why not make that the 2nd line and move Kane back up with Toews. DeBrinicat Toews & Kane can be dynamic together while the team manages its injury situation.

I am pleasantly pleased with Nylander and don't have any issue with him. I am looking forward to see him develop and the longer time goes on I'm feeling the BUF trade will work out, particularly with our defensive prospects coming through.
