Make the second a conditional first if the Hurricanes make it to the ECF or resign Lehner.

Hmmm resigning Lehner would almost be a given... I wouldnt want to give up both of our firsts to get this trade done. What about Bokk instead of the 2nd?

That seems acceptable, but I'd still rather it be a first. Although I'll be honest with you... I really don't want to trade Lehner from Chicago. Fair offer.

I woudlnt want him leaving my team either! Seems like a great goalie, with great character.

Maybe Canes should trade up in the draft for that Russian Goalie... Cant remember his name frown

I do think this will help CAR immensely. I'd prefer to retain (on Lehner) vs trading for Reimer...if that's possible. I'd also prefer to have that 2021 be conditional like the Zuccarello trade, but even if not...I'd honestly do this trade. I'm a Hawks fan, but CAR is up there as my 2nd or 3rd team to watch. Both Shaw and Lehner would be great additions.

Trade him to Toronto for some assets as their 1b goalie since the Leafs have no ability to re-sign him making him a pure rental with Chicago able to re-sign him this summer again.

But why the hell would we trade Lehner when he’s clearly the #1 for us and not to mention one of the best goalies in the league. Isn’t that why we signed him??

As a CHI fan...what are we saving him for? This team is 1 point from being dead last in the West (even with Lehner's great play) and can't even roll out 12 forwards tonight against STL due to all their injuries. The Hawks have more than just 1 problem. Trade ALL the pending UFAs to the highest bidder!

I think we’d make the push to get Lehner back and I’d think he would want to stay too. Not to mention he has a noticeable bond with Alex nylander

If he likes CHI that much...he's a UFA next year. Go sign him again! It's not like there are a ton of teams out there that can afford him anyway.

I’d bet that he will stay in Chicago.
