If MTL tank down... YES I'll do it... but they will fight back to get back in the playoff so they can't trade Petry for now

Petry has 2 more years and is a true #3 defensemen. I can see us getting more.

Chris, this is totally unrelated to this post but I had to reach out. It appears the morning skate has Glass between Carrier and Tuch....we may get our wish finally!!!!! Boy I hope they can find some quick/instant magic because on paper that's an awesome line.

I think Eakin has to be moved given his UFA status. Roy is ready for that spot, or even Nosek is a natural center if needed. I still think there's an intriguing trade for Justin Schultz involving Eakin. I don't see Pittsburgh resigning Schultz any more than I see VGK resigning Eakin. Sensible swap.
