Love how LeBrun reports today Suzuki is untouchable and wouldnt be included in a trade for Taylor Hall, and then on AGM we have him as the center piece for a Klefbom trade when the OP is like Klefbom is someone we need to sell high on before he declines.

I like Suzuki but I think that's too high a price to pay. Klefbom is proving to be a 1st pairing defender who is just entering his prime while being on a fantastic, team-friendly contract.

I guess you didn’t watch Suzuki played, he’s a stud. Would you trade Klefbom vs Marner ? I’m not saying Suzuki will be good like Marner, but it’s possible.

The guy didn't say anything bad about Suzuki. He said he likes him.

From an Oilers perspective, why would you trade your 1 dman, on a dirt cheap contract, for a forward prospect? Oilers have a couple of forward prospects in the system, alongside Nuge, McDavid and Drai.

Also bold take comparing him straight to Marner before he's accomplished anything in the NHL. Oilers aren't trading their sure thing in a top pairing dman for a forward prospect.

It doesn't even matter Suzuki, Klefbom etc. Only question worth answering is will Klefbom be enough to make the Habs that much better? IMO No.

Habs need 3 Klefboms, That's the problem.
