That 2020 second of yours is frozen until Adam Fox plays his 30th game for you sometime this month, at which point it becomes Carolina's.

Did you check to see if St. Louis and Dallas can afford those cap hits?

Absolute nonsense. Kreider for just a late first round pick. Strome....Hajek and 2nd round pick, for another later first round pick. Skjei for a 2nd round pick. And Lias for a guy that is not even eligible to play in the NHL this year. 4 for 4 on really, really bad trades. You must just hate the Rangers.

the first 3 trades would require the addition of at least a mid to upper mid prospect coming back...the Lias/JP trade is probably fair.

What were you thinking that the Cats would have to add?

First trade needs another piece, second is awful... at the rate he’s playing strome would fetch a 1st alone. Or close to it. Skjei prob gets alittle more and the last ones fine

Blues are going to have to start playing significantly worse before we start trading first round picks in a deep draft away for rentals we don't have cap space to re-sign

How about adding another second...or going with a prospect (maybe Serron Noel?) and a 3rd??

Cats not trading Noel, big power forward with skill.....maybe a third or a lower leveled prospect

Not familiar with the players in FLA system...but the point is that a team must give to get back...Skjei has had his troubles- but once Ranger management figures out (I have a little faith in JD) that their D players' defensive woes are largely due to the antiquated D system forced upon them...in a real D system, Skjei will become a solid 2nd pair D man....I kmow you can't value him for that right now- but consider that the Ranges gave up a 2nd and a 3rd for Brendan Smith (who was a rental at the time)...so Skjei- a big, smooth skating D, who is signed for several more years- will cost considerably more.
