Whoa, I am agreeing with a Sabres fan. Did we just become best friends?

For real...trading for him as a pure rental maybe. Paying him like McDavid is not smart. The Canes won’t pay the price it’s going to take for a rental, nor will they overpay for UFA players. I don’t see a fit.

i can understand that, honestly i dont think the canes should trade for hall as it puts you in a rough spot financially. I based the money on other signings that I saw, plus Panarin got payed around the same and Hall probably thinks he could get more

Trade looks right to me. Contract maybe not..
But this looks like a cup favourite if the goaltending holds up
