Hawks mismanaged this team

That 2016 TDL was where Bowman really set this team back, can't go for it every year and had he held on to his assets then this team would be in way better shape now.

Kempny was in Q's dog house and was not going to get an opportunity in Chicago. Im very happy that he found a place in WSH but I don't think that was mismanaged. Every other one... yep

I'm crossing my fingers that Nylander keep on improving. Otherwise there's another trade that will haunt Blackhawks fans..

The Teravainen trade I never understood. Insane. Panarin you understood a bit, but it was stupid. Also Saad + Shaw is almost Panarin salary.

i'll say Dale Tallon was the true architect for Hawks first 2 recent Cups even though he got ousted right before the first one. He's the GM who acquired/drafted the core pieces. I think you can even include Dustin Byfuglien in this list of bad trade

With Buff I think it was a bit different. Bowman had to get rid of some pieces to be able to dress a team. He was a winger at the time and Hawks was loaded with talent. And they were able to win the cup twice without Buff.
