I'm a MTL fan, and not one of those who thinks Price isn't worth nothing because of his contract... This trade is a BIG BIG overpay by VAN... Seriously, put away Boeser, retain 2 millions on Price contract and remove the second

Vancouver has no reason to make this trade. Price is on one of the worst contracts in the league

Why would any team trade for Price with the way he's played the last 2 years when he's making 10.5M per for the next 6 years. I'd trade assets NOT to acquire Price...

I upped the offer for price because I added that Eriksson $18M anchor of a contract that they'd pay handsomely to get rid of.

I also titled this "I don't even know anymore"

and if VAN was interested in paying to get rid of the contract it would likely be gone.... it sucks but for where VAN is now it's not killing us.... that said, what about Carey Price's $63M sunken ship of a contract? you should add Domi for Van to compensate for that.
the whole point of "paying" to get rid of a contract is just that, to get rid of it... not pay, and then take back one 4x the size.....
