I think Spezza draws in over Petan. He's actually been pretty good. I'd move Johnsson for a backup/tandem goalie and possibly gain some cap space. I have liked Spezza with Kerfoot and Kapanen but we'll see what happens.

Either way Petan won't draw in over Spezza and Goats earned his spot.

I agree Spezza has been better than Petan, but I just don't see him on the 4th line. I'd like to see them move Kerfoot for a D/G and draw in Spezza to 3C.

Kerfoot is too valuable because he can play centre. I'd move Johnsson, I love him but the Left side is actually pretty deep. Engval has been good, so is Moore, and Hyman and Kerfoot.

I think that’s why Kerfoot is good trade bait same as Johnsson possibly even better thanks to his versatility to play wing or centre and if given the chance, could shine in a more offensive role. Toronto has skilled players coming out there butt, but they need more players like Hyman to do the dirty work to get the puck for the skill guys. On D we have too many offensive minded guys looking for the break out before they’re sure the puck is secured. Spezza has filled in admirably at the 3C in his chances there so I think Kerfoot could be moved for the right price. He’ll if we needed to, can always put Nylander at centre if an injury emergency calls for it. I’m tired of putting all the blame on Ceci when it comes to his pairing with Rielly but there just doesn’t seem to any cohesion between the two for whatever reason so if we can’t upgrade our D group with a trade, they at least need to be separated.
