The Strome trade works. No need to retain. Pretty much everything else is trash...

EDM is clearly looking for a huge return on Puljujarvi. I don't even think they'd do Puljujarvi for Kreider straight up at this point, forget about the 1st rounder.

Lundqvist on a team like SJ is definitely a cup pursuit waiting. he has a young team in front of him and the pressure is there for hm to win and with SJ defense he can perform good enough to lead SJ to a cup imo

I would want to see Kreider on the Oilers, but I seriously doubt that he would sign long-term for the Oilers. He is not worth a 1st and Puljujarvi as a rental. I think Holland is thinking long-term here and I doubt he would trade away draft picks at this stage, but I could be wrong.

Kreider is so overvalued it's ridiculous, never hit 30 goals or 60 points and he's on pace for 40 points this season, he's worth what Zuccarello or Nyquist went for at the TDL.

oh I agree he would be perfect to split starts with Jones but no way I give up a first for any goalie

Lundqvist was worth a 1st the trade deadline in 2014-2015 season. Now?? Not so much...

Dont then? No team will overpay for an older goalie who makes to much and is a shell of the elite man he used to be
