I'd personally take ekblad just because of his rugged defensive abilities, and this year I find he's really starting to improve offensively- he's always been alright offensively, but he's getting better. Dumba is still better offensively, but is a bit older on a shorter term and not quite as strong on D. Its close though for sure

It's actually not that stupid. They are pretty different d-man I would say. Expectations were way higher for Ekblad, but in reality, they are in the same category.

Dumba all day and everyday.

And twice on Saturdays.

Ok why?

He's a young D and only getting better. Oh...he's on a good contract too...something fans of other teams remind Leafs fans of each and every time there's an ACGM in which Dumba is traded for.

Can't have it both ways, either he's everything people claim he is in those ACGMs or he's not.
