Goalies carry a ton of value they're the most important position on the ice. If Vancouver got a 1st for Cory Schneider, Ottawa got a 1st for Robin Lehner, and Anaheim got a 1st and a 2nd for Frederick Anderson then Murray is definitely worth at least a 1st rounder

Woah, I know Wild want a goalie but Murray is due for big pay day and Dumba is on incredible deal.

Gotta think Wild decline.

NJ: Needed a starter.
Buffalo: Needed a starter.
TOR: NEEDED A STARTER.

MIN: Don’t need a goalie.

The thing about all three of those trades is that they came at a time when the goalie market was actually kind of barren. Today? Not so much. That’s why you saw guys like DeSmith, and a few other guys pass through waivers.

Andersen was the high end of that, and Freddy had been much better than Murray has been this year. You're looking at a 2nd at best, maybe a b prospect or a mid round pick as well.

I think its way too early to give Jarry the starting role. He needs to play much more games to show his consistency. Also, the Wild have Kahkonen, who had another good game tonight. They will continue to ride him for now to see if he could be a solid goalie in the league.

Sabres were trading for the current Lehner, if he didnt have mental health issues, they were trading a first for one of the top goalies in the league. Schneider was also fantastic in Vancouver and was considered one of the leagues best till injuries set in
