For me, the Minnesota trade makes the most sense. I highly doubt they take another swing at Strome, that's got to be some weird blood. They probably still regret trading Eberle for him originally.

I don't think Ottawa moves Tierney and Brown as a package without a 1st coming back.

Wild aren't likely to trade Fiala now, he's played really well the last month and is starting to look like the player they hoped he'd be. Donato would probably be available.

I really like the Minnesota trade, either as is or as modified by @MNBassman . The Ottawa trade involves the right players, but it just seems a little short on Edmonton's end to me. Maybe we're just getting not a subjective rather than objective area, but I would add another prospect -- I don't like the idea of giving away first-round picks all that much.

These are some really nice ideas. Good job!

Klefbom and Nurse aren't moving for Tatar, that's laughable.

It's been slowed by wrist injuries, and while I'm souring on him because it's taking longer then expected, he's still a very good prospect, I just don't know if he fits into Edmontons long term plans unless Leon switches to centre or Yamamoto is able to drive his own line. I would like to see the Condors try him at centre... Tyler Johnson

Zucker and Donato for Puljujarvi and your 2020 1st.

How is Yamamoto’s development coming along?

That gets it done? I figure JP=Poehling, 1st gets Tatar, Samorunkov is the add to make sure

Be careful about using Samorukov (no "n") as a throw-in, he's probably worth a 1st all by himself.

Poehling > JP Tatar > a 1st alone so Samorukov have a good value so it’s even, but I think most of Mtl fans wouldn’t do it. I think it’s fair

Not sure who this Max Domi character is, I've never seen him around.

That's probably value you get for just Tatar, I don't see Poehling moving unless we are getting a true 1st pairing defensemen back

He definitely isn't looking that way right now. I get he's only 20, but those stats are terrible

First year in the minors and he's not getting a lot of opportunity, look more at his stats in guelph, it will come
