I dont think Colorado does that tbh. Boston possible but I think theyd rather give a prospect and a 2nd over 2 2nds

Seems like they are helping the Sens out, more than the other way around, on either deal. Furthermore, there is absolutely no way the Sens get a 1st for that load of chunk being shipped off to Colorado.

To be fair, Tierney would step in to your 3rd line easily. He is much better than Jost or Bellemare, and Demelo would be good on your 2nd pairing. As youve said youre going for the cup, and getting 2 3rd rounds back.

So its a 1st in the 25-31 range and a late 2nd for a haul. Not at all bad.

Tierney would not step into the 3rd line spot, maybe while the avs are injured, but hes not going to play over jost or bellemare, bellemare has been playing great on the avs this year and chemistry with calvert has been a pleasant surprise, best 4th line in the league I would say... demelo wont have any room to fit on the top 6 dmen, graves has earned his spot in the lineup as well as the other guys.... the trade makes no sense because i don't think that when healthy they could make this avs team

Homer goggles buddy.

Jost could be better in a couple years, but he isnt now. Tierney is not very expensive and kills penalties as well. Tierney has better rate stats on a worse team with no powerplay time.

Tierney costs 2+ mill more and 4 years older than jost, we have bellemare, calvert, nieto, compher, landy who kill penalties... hes not needed, especially at that price

Your PK is bottom 3rd in the league, Landy shouldnt have to PK, Bellemare is 34. Just because the spots are currently filled doesnt mean that you dont try and improve.

I didnt say it was a crushing win of a trade for you guys, all I said is that 2/3 would not be healthy scratches as they are better than who is on your roster.

Tierney would be a great signing who can come off the books right when MacK needs his next contract.
