Lets be honest this team isnt good

Created by: JarmoK
Team: 2019-20 Columbus Blue Jackets
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 4, 2019
Published: Dec. 4, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This team is lacking a serious scorer. Probably for the best that they start a mini rebuild now for next season. Savard, Murray, Wennberg, Milano all have trade value. Try and recoup previous lost draft picks and maybe some prospects and get ready for next year.

ceci is a good goal creator, provided you don't ask what team he's creating the goals for

We are having a hard enough time keeping the puck out of our net, don't need any more assistance on that

Too slightly above AHL caliber goalies will do that to ya, unfortunately.

To be honest it hasn’t been Korpisalos fault. It’s been our ability to score. Cam doesn’t have a 5v5 goal this year. Andy has 2 points. Just nobody can score. The only bright spot on this team for me right now is Bjorkstrand.

I agree, maybe time to pull the plug and go for a full rebuild

Pastrnak for Dubois, that should get you a goal scorer (who is on pace for 70+ goals (!) this season)

As @the_cannon said, Goaltending hasn't been bad. I think there is less confidence in these two than there was in Bob, likely leading to less risk taking on the offensive end. But there is 0 offensive production. PLD has been very good, Nyquist and Bjorky have been solid, but it falls off from there.

CBJ have some good pieces, so they probably don't need to blow it up necessarily, but this team won't make Ploffs and the worst thing they could do is end up with a #10-#15 pick in this draft.

Tempting for sure, but I don't think he can pass the puck to himself. Would turn into Rick Nash 2.0

If you get that offer from Winnipeg you should take it, but I'm not sure someone will offer you a first-round pick (even one as far back as Winnipeg's is likely to be) for Savard. If they don't, we'll offer you Antoine Morand (former second-round pick) and our 2020 second, which should be <45, for him. But you must act now.

I mean, Savard (RHD and one more year left on contract) is very easily worth at least a 1st and a solid prospect.

Okay. I hope you get it! I have absolutely no ax to grind here.

Yeah, my view is just the lack of confidence in them. Hard to create offence when you’re worried about your own end for sure.
