Why not? It would maximize their return. And since Hall's contract is expiring there are literally no long term consequences. Not saying anything about this guy's trade in particular, but you couldn't be more wrong in that statement.

So if Hall is worth Harley, Gurianov, a 1st and a 2nd, Surely Kreider is worth a 1st + Gurianov....which is cool.
