don't see the ducks trading Miller, he's their only NHL capable backup, plus he has a full NTC

has he said something like that before? I feel like he knows he would be a great fit in Toronto

I think thats true, but getting rid of the eaves contract is incentive for them to move him. Ceci might be the worst player of all time, but at least they can pay him to play for the team instead of paying eaves to do nothing

I'm 99% sure Eaves; LTIRed contract is mostly paid by insurance, iirc it's Kesler's that isn't

His wife is a movie star and he will not leave the west coast. She works a lot!

I could see them taking kesler over eaves maybe. that could work.

there is a good chance this is millers last year, and his last chance for a cup. Toronto has had its struggles this year, but it gives him a better chance to win a cup then Anaheim. a trade in February for a few months might be worth it for him.

He hasn't won a cup, I'd imagine he'd be willing to go somewhere where that could happen for a short while. Its not like this is going to be a life changing move, he'd rent an apartment for the remainder of the season and then go back to the west coast afterwards.

Wouldn't even have to pay him Leafs already did that he's owed like 1/2 a million between now and the end of season

He would go to SJ before Toronto. He wants to stay on the west coast as he has expressed that multiple times. He gets to choose where he wants to go if he would like to win a cup. I don't see Toronto being his choice.
