idk if itd be worth it to trade a 1st for Dipietro, a largely unproven prospect yet, it might be better to just see if Askarov falls to you in the draft and go from there. Otherwise there are plenty of backups you could try to pry away from someone. On the flip side, for VAN, they might not be interested in trading Dipietro because there is still that chance that he could turn out better than Demko and Markstrom

And in what world is Dipietro comparable to Andersen, who got traded after playing 3 years in the NHL(2 of which was as a starter)??
