Think you may be overestimating Kreider's return, and if NYR were somehow able to keep Georgiev and juggle 3 goalies next season (give Shesterkin time in both the A and the NHL), that would help them in the long term.

In 3 more games AG becomes subject to waivers. No chance he clears. They can’t juggle 3.

Georgiev loses his waiver exemption soon. Kind of limits their Roster flexibility a bit with 3 goalies. And keep Shesterkin down in Hartford any longer helps no one. Kid is ready

serious question, i know a lot of people on the site been pushing the bracco trade which i'm not totally against. but what good is it for the team if we put a tiny player who doesn't kill penalties and isn't known for playing good defense on the 4th line? sounds like a liability to me. imo, players like bracco are either top 6 or a bust.

i love Barron's numbers, never seen him play a min lol but if his numbers mean anything things are looking good for the rangers. moving from college to the nhl is a big jump. i can only think of 4 or 5 players that stuck to a team. barron might take more then 1 season in the ahl before he is ready for the nhl. which is fine, a lot of player have very good careers even if they get into the league at 23-24.

True about Bracco. I moved everyone around on the Roster, while also mulling the option to resign Fast (still mulling).

wouldn't shock me if the rangers kept 3 goals on the team after the deadline. have shesterkin play 3-4 games. (assuming they are out of the playoffs) they can send shesterkin back and forth like they did to georgiev a couple seasons ago.

historically teams normally get more for players at the deadline but i think in georgiev situation they might get more for him at the draft. that's when i see that trade happening. imho

I am aware of the Georgiev situation. I think if the team is transparent with Shesterkin and he goes back and forth from the A to the NHL next season and plays approx 20-25% of NHL games next year, that would be very beneficial in the long term. A tandem of Georgiev and Shesterkin is incredible.

Obviously if an offer comes for AG that is too good to pass up, then I get moving him and it makes things easier. But I am pessimistic and I would rather juggle for one year and have a great goalie tandem in the future. We can agree to disagree on whether juggling can be done.
