Oh, I forgot that you are a Nylander lover. His style points doesn't nearly match his production or contract. But this is be a continuous discussion about Nylander's "playing worth", now and for years to come.

He's second on the team in goals. Second in points. He also leads the team in Corsi and is a positive expected goals player. He's also their fourth highest paid forward. I know people were upset about last year, but what else does he have to do to prove his worth? He's also one of only 4 Leafs players with more takeaways then giveaways. Short story, he's good at hockey and I'm glad he's ours.

Wow, so folks can read stats sheets. My eye test says he isn't THAT good. Much the same with Reilly who gets points of the PP (yea that's important) but is poorly defensively. Heck Babcock didn't have him killing penalties last season and now with Zaitsev and Hainsey departed, the Leafs are forced to use Reilly on defence.
Back to Nylander. Yep there will always be conflict between fans and how good he is. I would love to see him change my mind, but certainly appreciate yours and others opinions which are different than mine.
