How is Mathews ahead of Pasta, Eichel and Barkov? He shouldnt be in top 5. All three of those players produce more points and better 2 way player.

Because the list was created by a Leafs writer? I think Pettersson is too high too, and I'm don't think Makar should be on this list at all.

Only Leafa fans put him that high... Barkov is considered a top 5 center in the league (with Mcdavid, Crosby, MacKinnon, and Bergy) so yes he should be higher. Pasta is better than Matthews and Drai (though him and Drai are COMPLETELY neck and neck (and it sucks that Easports ranked Drai higher)... And Makar is playing amazing (over a point per game as a ROOKIE DEFENSEMAN) so that was wrong @CD282 he should 100000% be on here...

Correct List:

McDavid
MacKinnon
Barkov
Pasta
Drai
Makar
Matthews
Eichel
Rantanen
Marner
Petty
Aho
Barzal
Tkachuk

Makar and is way to high is a rookie cant expect same production all season. Also, you still have mathews ahead of Eichel. Eichel is out producing him in every category and more complete player.

Ooooo, we should've just asked the Silk kid, he knows better than everyone else! tears of joy

Makar doesn't belong: He's 21 and playing on one of the top teams in the league. Hughes is 5 points behind, a year younger, has better underlying numbers while playing on a worse team. But I think I'd take 19-year-old Rasmus Dahlin over either of them - and maybe Heiskanen, too.

Would've seen Chabot in that top 15, instead of Barzal

Thats fair! Cant argue, I just know i would get plenty of backlash for putting Eichel higher lol

Lol no need for being rude, its a been known to be a sign of lower intelligence... As far as your points, I was just reshuffling the names on the list, and Makar is very good, I am looking beyond just his stats and including factors such as leadership and skill and his play
