The Carolina trade might be a bit of an overpay by Detroit. Athanasiou can get the 1st by himself pretty easily, so it just depends how much farther he can get on his own. Also I would switch Fleury with Bean, I would rather get him instead. I'm curious to see what some other people think, but I don't think this is super far off.

at the deadline he's getting a first at least lol. hayes got a 1st + lemuix + a 4th at the deadline. trades are made every deadline for guys way worse than athanasiou and they get more. your undervaluing him because hes on a terrible detroit team with filppula has his center.
