Jets easily say no. Ehlers has been the Jets best forward. He’s on pace for 30+ goals and is only going to get better. Also can’t forget he’s on a really good contract. Jets are super high on him so you’ll have to pay a hefty price to acquire him.

Tbh just saw some jets fan post one so that’s why I thought I’d do it. For me it’s a pretty hefty price here. Deangelos been one of the top defensemen in the league this year plus u guys are in need of some rhd help, buchnevich fills the top 6 role for ehlers leaving and strome has played great this year and is a flex center/ right winger

I know it’s a good deal but ehlers value to Winnipeg is so high and it’ll take more than this.

Also what I think too often doesn't get recognized about Ehlers is he committed to a long term deal with a team that most players have no interest in coming to and to just deal that guy away should only be done with the greatest consideration, for a team in Winnipeg that has a value to it that can't really be measured. This is probably a fair value for just Ehlers, I wouldn't include Vesalainen but even though it's fair I wouldn't trade Ehlers for that return.

If I’m Chevy I don’t make this trade.

Honestly no and he's also the Jets best forward, I know Scheiffele, Wheeler, Laine and Connor get all the press and accolades but Ehlers drives the Jets bus.

Pionk has been unbelievably good btw.
