Send Kahkonen back to Iowa and let him be the starter there on a playoff run when Dubnyk is back. He's played 2 NHL games, no need to jump to conclusions and rush his development.

Wings absolutely don't need Dubnyk. He's struggled this year and they're not a goalie away from contending, so they can worry about their goalie problems later after picking top 4 this season.

Dubnyk has not been very good this year, Stalock has been much better and looks to be the starter. Wings are in no position to give up AA for aging goalie who is not playing well and will cost 3 million for two years.

Wings need a lot and trading AA for a player who is not part of the long term solution makes zero sense. As bad as Wings are Bernier has played well, but when you face 30 to 50 shots and your offense score 1 or two goal a night hard to win.

We sure as heck don't need Dubnyk, He'd never help that team and AA is sure worth far more then a goalie that we don't need and a 2nd. You want AA we want either Donato or Brodin for starters.
