San Jose shakeup

Created by: truculence67
Team: 2019-20 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 6, 2019
Published: Dec. 6, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
No question San Jose gets the best player in this deal but the leafs desperately need some change. Their current roster is just not getting the job done. This team is charmin' soft and easy to play against. A top line of kane matthews and Marner would be dynamite

As soon as I saw Evander Kane's name in there, it was automatically a terrible deal, regardless of the other pieces. Leafs could do better for Nylander anyways, in my opinion, at least. To me, Kane seems too much like a loose canyon, much in the same style as Nazem Kadri, but worse. I don't think he'd be good for the dressing room either.
Copenhagen liked this.

Kane is scum, why anyone would want him on their team I'll never understand, he's having a good season but when he goes cold he goes really cold and then there's steady stream of off ice issues, it'd just be acquiring a headache.

Id probably do it, not because Nylander is better(hes not) but he is way younger so helps us stay young over the long term, and hes still a pretty good player.
