Additional Details:

Det gets an asset and an improvement over Nielsen who is in great need of a change of scenery. Turris also had good chem with Mantha at the worlds so maybe they can cont that. Det adds $2m in cap over the next three years and is on the hook for an additional 2 years of Turris but $4.5 is manageable. Det could also turn Turris later for more assets if he regains his game

Additional Details:

NSH gets $2 mil in cap relief immediately and can get up to $3 if the bury him. Additionally, they are only on the hook for $1.5 the last two years of the contract which would be much better than buying him out or burying him.

What would make sense for Nash to get AA? I'd much rather have him, but realize it would cost more.

Come man how does this benefit Detroit? So we retain 50% on Nielsen for 2 more years, Yet Nashville retains only 25% on Turris for 4 more years an additional 2 years on Turris. No way. If any thing it should be Nashville with 50% on Turris and Detroit 25% on Nielsen just because Turris has that additional 2 years. Sorry didn't notice the additional 2nd coming our way. That makes it a little better but still Nielsen only has 2 more years after this and Turris has 4 more years doubt Yzerman swallows that.

Pretty bad for Nashville. Turris can still play. With Nielsen, you're praying you can find a quasi-legit reason to put him on LTIR for the rest of his contract.
