2020-2021 Sabres

Description
Help me build the rest: Does Ristolainen AND Miller get traded to open up a spot for Borgen? Does Cozens make the team? Are there better options than Galchenyuk for the LW3 spot, and for the 4th line wingers? We have lots of options with so much dead weight coming off the books, let's build our team together.

I think Cozens gets the Cody Glass treatment, he'll go back to juniors for his d+2 year and just dominate, then step in immediately the year after, BUF won't rush him like they did Mittlestadt, and yes there are better options than Galch, but someone will definitely overpay him

I think Cozens will be ready. Don't forget, Mittelstadt struggled because he was playing high school hockey a year before. Cozens has been in the WHL and looked great in camp.

Ideally, a defenseman is getting us a forward (instead of Galchenyuk)...I just don't know who to trade Ristolainen or Miller for that would be realistic.

I think you are both right. We overpaid him, but hes doing exactly what we overpaid him to do. If you wanna blame anybody, blame the gm that got him marcus johansson/johan larsson as his center and connor sheary as his rw. Im actually kind of impressed hes done as much as he has.

I like the Kassian signing, but I wouldn't touch Galch with a 10 foot pole.

I think he could be really solid in Buffalo...just not sure I like him where I have him on the 3rd line.

Put him at wing with a good center and I think he could shine.

I wouldn't mind trading Bogo or someone for him just for the rest of the season.

But he's had issues with coaches every team he's been on. Maybe Kreuger could get the best out of him, but I'd be leery signing him to a 4 year deal.
