I don’t see how it doesn’t help.

This works for both teams.

Helps leafs by giving them a legit backup and Kreider adds some grit with skill as top 6 forward.

Helps NYR by adding kapanen signed for 3 more years, Bracco top prospect on wing.

Kreider is UFA this summer so he is motivated to earn contract. Georgiev is replaceable by depth of ranger goaltending in minors. They need to add skill and do that with both kapanen and Bracco.

make it part of the deal the rangers get the highest of the 6th rounders other than that i really like this trade

A real hockey trade with good players going both ways.

You could make it bigger and add nylander for a fix of our defence. Do rangers have a top 3 guy, preferably right handed.

Add Nylander and DeAngelo? Take out Kaskisuo and the pick? I dont think the Leafs would go for that, though ADA has a chance to be a special player.
