Johnsson is a nice player. First round pick nice? Absolutely not.

Think you're too optismistic on Leafs getting those picks. Muzzin term too long. 21 man roster, no cap. No thanks.

He's not worth a top 15-20 pick ... but he's definitely worth 20-31 overall pick ... later 1st aren't that valuable.

They would be a long shot to ever become as good as Johnsson is now.

Look through the last 10 drafts ... you'll find a few stars + 25 depth players + 25 fringe players + 50 guys who didn't make it.

Teams aren’t willing to give up the chance of getting an impact player on their ELC for a couple years for the Andreas Johnsson type. Maybe they should, but they don’t. I am well aware the kind of players that are drafted between 21-30. I’m also really aware that budget teams like budget players.
