It would not. Value is extremely swayed towards Detroit. Wings are getting the two most valuable pieces in that trade, although I can see an argument for Cholowski being worth more than Gourde. There will certainly be better offers out there for Sergachev and/or Gourde come summer.

Detroit takes that and runs. Cholowski is a fine player/prospect but has no where near the ceiling of Sergachev. Gourde is probably overpaid a bit, but is still in his prime and an effective player with a keen physical edge (also he doesn't waive for freaking Detroit lol). The 2 vets Tampa is receiving dont really help improve them or cap wise for next year.

Hardly. 2nd and Cholo does not get Sergey. 2 stiffs don’t get Gourde.
