Eichel is easily top 5 and could be pushing top 3 although I think 4 is the Magic #. Top 10 for me goes like this
McDavid
Crosby
Pastrnak
Eichel
MacKinnon
Kane
Draisitl
Marchand
Barkov
Stone
This is open for discussion, but I will be staying with my position
No, Now here me out, what if I told you that Eichel and MacKinnon are weirdly similar, look at their careers. Eichel has been better every year(except rookie) in comparison to MacKinnons, like 1st to 1st year. Now if we where at the start of MacKinnons 4th year ppl would be saying what you just said, MacKinnons not as good as someone he was compared to...but then he scored 97 in 73 games and totally blows everyone's mind. Well the year before his 5th year he had 52 points in 82.games in his 4th. Eichel in his 4th year had 82pts in 77 years. So the year everyone was like wait... MacKinnon is actually really good was his 5th year. Eichel is just in his 5th year and is on pace for 111 pts or something... He is better than MacKinnon also on defense. While MacKinnon is scoring a little more, his team scores a lot more than the Sabres and their PP is actually doing something.
Eichel has the capability to be top 10. Maybe top 5. Having him in front of draisaitl, McKinnon, and marchand at this point is insanity.
Read my post to hockey fanatics, Draisitl is the only one I think could be better, but watching Draisitl Eichels just plays better, what if Draisitl and Eichel switched places in teams, Eichel would most likely have more points. Same with Marchand, although I kind of am biased against Boston

McDavid, Crosby, Mack is top 3, Eichel doesn't get in that at all.

I agree, who would you switch out for Matthews? Who is the 5 players better than Eichel?
1) Marchand or Pastrnak (they are amazing players but one of them should not be there, this is not another Leafs fan hating Bruins players thing..) or Kane
2) For me its McDavid, Crosby, MacKinnon, Barkov and Stone. And then Its Matthews, Eichel, Marchand, Draisaitl, etc..

Sorry i didn’t scroll through all the comments.
There isn’t one second of his NHL career where Eichel has had a bigger impact on the ice than brad marchand. Sorry, that’s just an utterly absurd premise, and 30 games isn’t about to change my opinion, especially considering marchand has 5 more points than eichel over that stretch, with the same number of goals, much of it without his center. Draisaitl scored 50 last year. Bring this up after he puts up a full season at this pace. Right now I’m putting Barkov ahead of him.

Honestly I agree, but I think that Eichels better than MacKinnon which means Draisitl also. He's also better than Stone because he's a center. The biggest difference this year is his defense and he is stronger. Eichel plays better D and he also can play 22+ minutes compared to last year he was playing 19...
I may be biased, but... It not normally for Buffalo players but against players on the Bruins and Leafs ...

Check this above... Hopefully this helps you to see where I'm coming from
So is Eichel... Look at him, he hasn't ever had a Rantenan type player on his team or wing
I think Rantanen is overrated. He's like Draisaitl, a very good player but plays with a dominant centre and that makes them elite. Neither Rantanen or Draisaitl would be 100 point players without McKinnon and McDavid. Eichel hasn't really elevated anyone quite like that.

Jeff Skinner..? + He hasn't had the perfect 3rd player like the other 2 also. Eichel hasn't had someone like Draisitl or Rantenan, except for maybe Ollofson this year, and Reinhart
After that you could make an argument for Eichel but no way is he top 5.
