feel like getting Howden is value there plus a young defenseman and 2 good picks.

It's not terrible but Howden doesn't really do much for Wings. Sure he's an improvement over guys like Nielsen and Filppula but he's still a bottom 6 C and they don't care about winning now. Wings have enough guys with similar upside on the way in the future. Something like Georgiev + 2nd for AA would maybe be interesting from Detroit POV

Hajek is better than Lindgren. im sorry but if you don't see that your not watching. Lindgren is just really physical but Hajek has the higher ceiling.

hajek does, i've said it on this site in the past. but lindgren will be a better 3rd pairing defenseman, he plays the pk better and plays well with an offensive partner next to him. including other intangibles hajek doesn't have. Hajek has more of a ceiling but he hasn't showed good signs of hitting it. no don't in my mind lindgren is the better choice to keep moving forward.

keeping either hajek or lindgren with plans to make either a top 4 player in the future is a plan for failure.
