You don't trade a future elite defenseman for a one-year rental...

So the Avs won't acquire Hall. If you want to win a Cup, you need good players on ELC contracts. It's not like the Avs window is closing. Would be ridiculous to trade a future top pairing guy for a rental. Considering how the Avs offense have been playing with all the injuries, Byram on his ELC for 3 more years is way more valuable for them than Hall as a rental

Why do you think you're getting one of the best prospects not in the game for a Hall rental? Ottawa didn't even get one of those for a better winger who resigned after being traded. You're fan base is either delusional or stupid.

That is just flat out wrong, in no way do you have to trade byram, honest people live in fantasy land when it comes to hall returns

Sens wouldn’t trade chabot for duchene
Stars wouldn’t include miro in karlsson trade talks
Knights wouldn’t include glass in karlsson trade talks or stone trade
Avs wouldn’t include makar in karlsson trade talks
Avs wouldn’t include 4th overall, sens own pick in stone talks

There is so many recent precedents that value such of byram never see the light of day in a trade

you have to remember also that byram looks good but there is nothing saying that he is going to be a top pair d man. the chances are high he will be a top 4 and everyone likes to think the best of their prospects. but you need to give up something to get something. it would have to be more than just a 31 overall pick and a 30 pt center and a non factor dman. also the sens wouldnt give up chabot but they did get ERIK BRÄNNSTRÖM who is going to be a stellar dman and byram had an amazing year last season but the season before he was ok and this season he is doing good, hes sitting 15 for pts for defense-men in the whl. last year he was 3rd. he is a good prospect but thats all he is right now a prospect he isnt mcdavid he can be traded he may never amount to anything like YAKUPOV or he may just turn out like RISTOLAINEN.
