Trade doesnt make much sense for the pens. Manning has no place on our blue line (we already have JJ, manning is the last thing we need to add). I would rather trade chucky to you for picks and just Pool party but pool party doesnt carry much value. Maybe Pool party and a 2nd for chucky and like a 6th or something like that.

That makes sense. Obviously there isn't cap space for your idea, though. As an outsider I would suggest something around Chiasson, who scored a bunch of goals on McDavid's line but lost his spot there to Kassian.

Pretty sure the point of including Manning is to even out the cap a bit. You can bury him in the AHL for the remainder of the season if you want - it's not a question of if you have room on the roster.
