Damn this a hard one to unpack but I guess the biggest thing is drafting 4 decent players like the ones your traded to CBJ is a lot easier than finding another Seth Jones so I don’t think they’d be interested in this even though the leafs are giving up a toooonnnn

You are saying that 2 third line players, player not good enough to make NHL, a bust, worst goalie in the league and 1st next year is not good enough for top 10 dman and better forward then both being traded?

DId u take into account they played for the leafs?

Ok... two top 6 forwards and two good prospects and a first isn’t a lot, I literally said Columbus wouldn’t be interested but you can’t say the leafs aren’t giving a lot

are they really top 6? DO you think there point totals would be as good without elite centers? And your getting a top six player back so really only one " top 6". Prospects are b prospects at best and borderline nhl players.

That would be like the sabres offering

Thompson(better then bracco), Borgen (= to lilypad) Johnsson and vesey and 2021 first for Kappanen and Marner.

Johansson is top six on the leafs because they cant afford anyone else to play there, kapanen is on the leafs 3rd line, could arguable play top 6 for the jackets.. but Toronto is upgrading in every aspect and only giving up bracco and a late first, clb tells dubas that jones in untouchable

Neither of them played with elite centres for most of last year and They both had 40+ points, with more ice time and responsibilities they will easily top 50 in Columbus, Lilly still has great potential, and Bracco probably would be better off in a less deep organization, not saying Bracco is elite but a good prospect nevertheless
