I honestly doubt they would trade hamhuis unless they have someone else coming up or through a trade. He is playing a lot of PK time and they can't really replace that with Irwin or Weber. I think that is a fair trade, but I just don't know if the preds do it because they are unfortunately relying on hamhuis more than they should right now.

I personally view hamhuis as a liability while on the ice. I think we’d be better served to see what Davies or one of the AHL guys can do in the bottom pair with Weber.

I don't think you're wrong, but that's clearly not what the coaching staff thinks unfortunately.
