I agree that Dermott > Prout (Personally I like Prouts size and gritty style). With Sandin ready to make the leap next year, the Leafs save money by not having to resign Dermott.

Nylander skill wise may be an edge over Kane, but effort and heart, I give it to Kane all day. Plus he has a gutsy, tough side to him that the Leafs could really use and can still out up points. To me, it's a trade that benefits the leafs as it strengthens an area that's needed addressing for some time.
Bracco and 1st is tossed in to sweeten the deal, though perhaps one or the other can come out. The 3rd coming back is to try and even things.

maybe but a) it is well known that Kane has an ego and b) value wise it doesn't make sense. Kane is much older and produces similarly to Nylander- you're essentially giving up 5 prime years, Matthew's most compatible linemate, and a player with loads of untapped potential for evander Kane. it just doesn't make sense even if Kane is a bit more fiesty

Why would Buffalo do that trade, to be friendly?
Why would Colorado do that trade, because they are trying to win the cup, Ceci should go play in KHL?
Why would Toronto do the Nylander trade, so they can worry about what stupid $hit Kane is going to do next?

Colorado Trade is bad for the leafs as is the sharks trade. The sabres Trade makes sense. Why would anyone complain about giving up a 31 year old in the ahl?

Sabres trade, what do those 2 guys bring in that trade, nothing, may as well let the young kids have the roster spots on the farm. Colorado trade, I think Ceci is the worst D in the league and Colorado would be crazy to have him on the team giving up plays all over, it really makes them worse in a liability way.

Dude... it’s Hammond. At least hutch is a better ahl goalie lol. Ceci isn’t that horrible. The trade heavily favours Avs. To be honest even gauthier is a guy I don’t want to give up. Has little trade value. Great for d zone faceoffs though.

Dude Hammond isnt even playing for the farm team! We are both welcome to each other opinion here, I dont value it like you do. That is why most trades in the NHL do not happen as well.

He’s playing for Rochester. It’s just such a nothing Trade. Worst possible outcome of this is the Americans get better lol.

I know but you guys have a rivalry, like it really is a nothing trade except for that and picking up some extra money that, the cheap Ottawa owner is such a dick about. I guess times are changing, Oilers and Flames made a trade.
