Worst Contract on Each Team

Description
Some teams don't really have bad contracts so for those I just picked a player on the wrong side of 30 with a large contract and a lot of term. I am also looking at term as a factor. Some players may be worth it for this year but are signed until later 30s/early 40s. The order in each position is from worst to best

I’m having a really tough time with jay bouwmeester, Brent burns (it’s gotta be Karlsson), Ben bishop, Phil Kessel, and David clarkson.

Several of these I’d argue with. Example: Lars Eller is a very under rated 3C, ghost is having a down year but he’s still a much better value than Hayes or JVR, Kesler is LTIR, gudbranson is a worse contract, bishop is on a great deal, vlasic worse than burns, etc...

If you read the description it says that some teams do not have bad contracts and I just put players who are locked down for too long and will be bad soon (like Ben, Burns...) not saying they're bad right now but that they will be bad in the years to come. With Jay I just did not know who to put there instead I like all the Blues contracts and with Ghost he is making that money to sit in the press box this year. Love the player but this year was not his year

I love the fact that Edmonton's worst contract is 14th in the league in goals!

I'd argue for Washington that Oshie's contract will be worse than Ellers.

Neal has played only 79 minutes with McDavid and didn't scored a single goal in that time.

Okay, my bad. But still doesn't excuse the fact that he has 2 goals in 14 games. That is not a good contract I don't care what anyone else says I would never take that player with that money and term on my team

Whatever. He's a streaky scorer, everybody knew that. That trade was genius by Holland.

The trade was amazing for Edmonton, I won't argue with that. They got rid of one of the worst contracts in the league and got someone who has a recent history of 20-25 goals, but I just don't think a streaky player deserves 5.75 Mill until the 2023-2024 season. He is already on the wrong side of 30 and, usually, the 30s do not bode well for goal scoring 30 year olds. And do not say anything about Ovechkin or Marchand or Bergeron... those guys are the exception not the standards
