The GM is JBB and he started last year so he on hook for Gourde NTC ..nothing at TDL last year and signing Cooper long term WEEK BEFORE PLAYOFFS!!! .. he has been around for awhile .. he washed Yzermans balls for years so he involved with most all NTCs .. Tampa is an unmitigated disaster with only a half the team truly useful NHL players..

I watched couple days ago powerrankings video, someone considers us still top13... that's not that bad right? you can't always be top3 team in the NHL every season... I agree we can't expect a huge playoffs run, but it's not that easy to fix, just 1 coaching change doesn't solve all our problems in 1 second...(for St. Louis last year it did though haha, good for them...)

Dallas Cowboys in the NFL will make the playoffs with a losing record and they are not firing their coach for years, yet the results similar to tampa. Talented team and yet years after years = no playoffs success.

It's sucks, but Cooper has 0.640 win% since he is here in tampa, so i expect the same... he stays for a while... I know every fan dreams about the playoffs+cup... but until we are not out of playoffs race... i think our GM just doesn't make this drastical change midseason... he looks like a conservative GM(from the way he talks like an analytic guy and not emotional) , who only makes changes, when it's needed...

Today i watched the post match interview with cooper, he is like lost there on the podium, he just doesn't have answers why we play like this all the time this season + vs capitals playoffs game6+7 + columbus series + a lot this year in reg season...

We won't offersheet if it costs our 1st/3rd. The only offersheet we would consider is the one for just a 2nd, which you guys would probably match. A trade is more likely, something with more value than a 2nd, but less than the 1st/3rd.

Just letting you know that Gourde is doing ****ing fine this season, the dead weights on our roster are currently Johnson and Joseph (who, is my assumption, will be used as a trade bait at the trade deadline).
Gourde? He's playing great. Palat? He's probably playing his best all around season with the Bolts so far.

This is probably the hardest time in recent memory for a team to find a coach, with all the scandals and **** going on. Cooper will sooner or later be fired if the trend doesn't change, but it's definitely not an easy decision for JBB, especially with what the coaches market is offering right now.

YANNI GOURDE .. 32M contract with a NTC for a FOURTH LINER!! .. he is good 4th liner as I have been saying for years and reality finally hit.. JBB is to 100% blame for this contract.. Gourde has already cost us JT Miller..who is tied with Kuch in points this year at Vancouver!!!! .. and could cost us Killorn this Summer .. UNFORGIVABLE.. and u know it. I suspect same will happen to Cooper, this freakin Dallas game i'm so mad about: 2 bad line changes and we lost... i wanna cry in a corner how the hell you can't manage a line change vs a team who only scores goals with the rush... result = 2 goals allowed on the rush... because of those idk how i call them "garbage line changes".
