I think he has really nailed this one. I think trading Pesce is exactly what the Canes need to do to be successful. The exact position we wanted, over the cap, over roster size, and now searching for a RHD in the offseason.

At least we have depth scoring and prospects.

Brutal trade for Tampa Bay, Yeah Pesce is good but he is not worth that many pieces. Johnson + 2nd for Pesce is fair.

You dont seem to understand how this works. in the league bylaws you have to trade Pesce to Toronto for couple of Marlies and a mid round pick while retaining some of his salary,
