What the hell is that Ovechkin contract. That's practically (feels like) more than his first mega contract. It's an overpay, no matter how you slice it. Ovi wouldn't even do that to the team, everyone knows that'll kill this team for years, especially Ovi himself. He wouldn't be that greedy.

No I expect Ovi will get 3-5 years at about $9-9.5 mill AAV, depending on how his 2020-2021 season goes.
