that would be a No..what do the Avs gain in this? Messes with their roster without improving it (considering the roles the leafs players would be in) at the price of Timmins?
Need way more value that that to even consider timmins in any deal

This is an improvement for them. Timmins is an intriguing right-handed D piece, but he's proved nothing at the NHL yet, and is still on his way back from a major concussion. I could see the Leafs taking the risk in order to be creative, but I think it's a major gain for Colorado here. Dermott with Makar would be fascinating and Johnsson offers them another top-6 piece on the wing.

Its not an improvement though. Johnsson would be on the 3rd line, he wont be taking donskoi or Burakovskys spot, and Dermot would be on yhe 3rd pairing bc Zads and Makar is a solid pair and EJ Girard are a solid 2nd pair.

Like I said it messes with their roster and doesnt improve it bc they arent touching the Top 6 or Top 4 with those players. Avs easily decline...and yes the old gripe of his value isnt that great bc he had a concussion...right then why do you want him? Oh thats bc hes good and playing very strong in the AHL. There is no risk there...honestly man

"Hasnt proven anything in the NHL" He has played a grand total of 2 nhl games in his extremely short career. OBVIOUSLY HE HASNT PROVEN ANYTHING.
