Oh yea!

To TOR:
A. Georgiev

To NYR:
T. Moore
N. Petan
S. Der-Arguchinstev
C. Ceci
I. Scott
K. Kasiskuo
and
Conditional Player (P. Engvall)

If TOR gets to the ECF or further, then Engvall goes to NYR. If not, then Engvall stays with TOR.

Georgiev for Puljujarvi

No thanks.

Georgiev already is a proven 35 games goalie and he's not even 25. He'll be a 45-50 games starter in 2 years, if everything goes right.

Puljujarvi, on the other hand, hasn't proven anything yet. Of course the Oilers didn't help him to get better in the last 2 seasons, but I think great players can produce without the help of their team, and Puljujarvi hasn't done that.

I feel like 3 or 4 7th round picks should be included to make it fair. From Toronto's side.

Sentiment regarding Hank is one thing, but would the Rangers not be better off running a Shestyorkin-Georgiev tandem until the 2030s?

I mean everyone and their dog wants, no needs, to see Lundqvist raise the cup over his head. Should they not be looking at moving him over the summer at 50% retained to a team damn near ready to win it all and keep both of their young quality goaltenders?

What? The Rangers have plenty of room to work with man. They will ahve around 18-19 mil in Cap Space if it goes up by 1 or 2 mil. They will trade Kreider and Strome, so dont work about them. That Leaves TDA, Lemieux, and Fast. The Following year they shed 23.5m with Shatty's buyout, Hank, Staal, and Smith. They have more than enough room so your reasoning is wrong.

i feel like let Igor keep developing in the ahl there is no hint at him wanting to go back to Russia, once hanks contract is up sign him to a small 1 year contract and he takes back up role with alex taking starter keep this 1 year deal thing going until hank wants to retire

Hank is now our backup. He goes to a contender @1/2 for a 2nd or is bought out this summer, no big deal. Georgiev signs 3x1.6m and the Russian duo dominates. Anything other than this would be a sad outcome. Especially when everyone on here is handing him over, while picking up flaky players ie PuljPulj, Bracco, AA, Joseph...

seriously a good idea. i love hank as much as anyone but why drag out his last season. speaking for what's best for the team aspect, buying out hank or shipping him out is the best option.
