I don't think Montreal would be interested in any of them.

Maybe AA, but he would have to be pretty cheap

Markstrom is 29 and Baertschi is 27....Detroit is looking to rebuild. Not get older and crappier. Try again

Montreal wouldn't have interest because they're not a playoff team.

What happened to Greene? His performance metrics have absolutely tanked, even more than I'd have thought on a tanking team.

I bet more than a few Leafs fans wouldn't agree but Glendenning @ 50% (900K) would be a great fit on the Leafs IMO. He'd help the PK and is a solid 4th liner that can grind. I'd give up Timashov and a pick but the pick wouldn't be very high.

Jets would maybe be interested in a guy like fabbri, only issue is that he’d be getting 3rd line minutes. Do you think he could play a defensive role and produce as well? I haven’t watched much of him. Our 3rd line is really solid so he would be getting good offensive opportunities.

They are battling for a spot, but AA is young enough to entice a non-playoff team regardless.

Now a lot can happen between now and the TDL. Since Mantha got hurt Fabbri and Bertuzzi are the only players consistently putting up points.

I believe this is his last RFA season. Next contract he's a UFA. But he could easily be signed for 4-5 years between now an then.

I've really liked Fabbri since he's arrived but Detroit has to think long term here. The team is a hot mess and years away from competing again. Fabbri is giving us something to cheer about but that's about it right now. Meanwhile his value is rising and rising since he's arrived. I wouldn't be opposed to move him if GM's come calling offering top prospects.

gotcha - I'd give up a 1st and give him a 2-3 year deal at 3.5-4 mill per.

I'd take the 1st for AA.
3rd for Fabbri is not close. Much happier to keep him.
4th for Helm...sure depending on how much salary is retained.

Well if you think Fabbri isn't gonna fit in with the rebuild plans why not move out Larkin, Bertuzzi and Mantha as well?

I've always liked Fabbri but can't see him being given an opportunity ahead of anyone else on the 3rd line unfortunately.
Was thinking the Oilers should've took a flyer on Fabbri, looks like I was right.

Larkin, Mantha and Bertuzzi are seen as the young leadership core. It will take a huge over payment to move them. Especially Larkin. Fabbri's not really in that group, maybe he could be, but time will tell.

I wouldn't be looking to move Fabbri but not as opposed to it as Larkin, Mantha or Bert....if the right pieces came along. That's all.

Ok, but he's not coming as cheaply as you'd probably hope.
